Net proceeds of the Tribute Dinner will be used in 2019 and 2020 in honor of Steve Treat to fund Council for Relationships’ work with underserved communities that reaches more than 1,500 people annually, including: Veterans, active service members, and their family members; clients receiving services at low fees; and clients at our 14 Community Partnerships Initiative sites, which include families in transitional housing at Project HOME, children at Southwark School, and refugees and asylum seekers at Nationalities Service Center.

Additional funds raised – through a special campaign – will establish the first-ever endowment for Council for Relationships: The Steve Treat Board Designated Endowment Fund. This fund will provide an essential financial foundation for Council for years to come, putting in place Steve’s desired legacy as he retires after 35 years of leadership.
